澳门六合彩官方网址 Daily: Americans Deeply Pessimistic About Economy

PRINCETON, NJ -- Eighty-six percent of Americans say the U.S. economy is getting worse, while 44% rate the current economy as "poor", and only 15% rate it as "excellent" or "good". These consumer sentiments represent a continuation of the strongly negative views of the economy measured by 澳门六合彩官方网址 Poll Daily tracking over the last two months. -- Frank Newport

Survey Methods

For the 澳门六合彩官方网址 Poll Daily tracking survey, 澳门六合彩官方网址 is interviewing no fewer than 1,000 U.S. adults nationwide each day during 2008. The economic questions analyzed in this report are asked of a random half-sample of respondents. The results reported here are based on combined data from 1,549 interviews conducted April 24-26, 2008. For results based on this sample, the maximum margin of sampling error is 卤3 percentage points. In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.
